CAPTAIN'S NOTES:

Greeting Hivernauts,

     Wall now it was sure good to see all you old skinners, and you Pilgrims too (Don & Ellen) at the convention, I hope

you’re all stocked up on possibles an fu-fa-ra for Rondy-vu season.

     We are planning a TRT meeting and pot-luck at the visitor’s center, May 7th (Saturday).  We will clear-up camp fees,

 arrival and tear down and other important issues, if you wish to be on the agenda let me know.  Pot luck to start at

2:00 PM, meeting to follow.

 Mr. Arnie (Hubert) would sure appreciate some more volunteers to help with the Fort project, please give him

a call if you could spare a couple hours on a Saturday.

     Till then,

     Keep yer fires small and watch yer top knot!

FORT WORK PARTY May 14

     There will be a work party Saturday, May 14 at the Fort.  Come prepared to help pour concrete. 

Bring any cement working tools you may have.

The work party starts at 8AM.  We need at least 20 people to make the pouring go smoothly.

      Call Arnie Hubert on his cell if you have any questions.  Also check the website www.spvhs.org to make

sure the work party is still on.

 

TRT MEETING

     There will be a TRT meeting following a pot luck at the visitor center, May 7th.  The pot luck starts at 2PM, the meeting will start at approximately 3PM.  Please come prepared to discuss any issues you would like to bring up.

 

REQUEST FOR PLACES TO HOLD TRT MEETINGS

     Due to the high price of gas, we are looking for a more central location to hold TRT meetings.  If you know of any

free meeting hall, please call Nancy Dawdy and let her know the location of the meeting hall

 

LANCASTER RENDEZVOUS  2005

 No Powder will be having his famous camp stew on Saturday, May 28th.  There will be an auction immediately following the stew. 

If you would like to donate any items to the auction please see me at the rendezvous.

There will also be a Dutch Oven Cook-off on Sunday with a council immediately following the cook-off.
