CAPTAIN'S NOTES: Wal now ol timers- alot's been going on since last we spoke, we had a mighty fine meeting at the Dawdy's house on the 5th. We had a vote to see if you all had confidence in your Captain, and you voted 100%. So I guess your stuck with me for another year, Thanks for your support. The next vote was for Purser, Bunny ran unopposed. Thank you Bunny. SPVHS held their annual meeting on the 7th and many TRT members were present. A silent auction was held and about $675 was raised for the fort fund. Garry Dawdy and Rick Hosker had a slide show presentation on the fort, and Smoke talker showed us a DVD that was made at the College Rendezvous this past summer. If you would like a copy please contact him. We are getting ready for 'Frozen Toes' Rendezvous, Mike Mount is Booshway, he has a few projects that needs to be done before this event Trapper crafters is on the 19th of February at Garry and Nancy's house, so I hope to see you there. At this meeting the ladies will be learning how to use the lucet for cord making. Irish Lace will have 5 lucets to sell for $5 each. Bring your own lucet if you have one and some crochet thread. The
men will be firing up the forge.
