Although there was a little snow...we got off a few rounds at the special targets and had a great time shooting and watching the snow fall. Please plan to come to the next fun shoot December 18th at 10:00am Just wanted to throw this out one more time about the monthly shoots and the Fort Lupton Muzzle Loading Club. Monthly shoots are open to anyone member or not. A per shoot fee (prizes and range maint) will be $6.00 per shooter as a FLMLC member and $8.00 as a non member. Any TRT member wanting to use the range at any time other than sanctioned shoots, must be a member of the FLMLC. There are 2 types of memberships: $5.00 per year non-voting and $15.00 per year voting. Memberships can be had by contacting John Callor, Bill Lang or Bill Crowley. A membership card will be issued and should be with you on the range. We will be asking to see your card. This is very important as with insurance being a big issue, we need to have only insured members on the range while shooting outside of scheduled events. All other TRT range rules still apply...so bring a shooting buddy! John Callor
TRAPPER CRAFTERS At the last Trapper Crafters we made cloth Indian dresses and worked on the forge. It was a lot of fun. The next Trapper Crafters meeting will be held January 22, 2004 at 2PM at Garry & Nancy Dawdys house; a potluck will follow the meeting. At this meeting we will be making chemises. We will have patterns and articles to copy patterns from. If you have a chemise, please bring it. Bring white or off-white cotton fabric if you want to get started on a chemise. The men will be firing up the forge. FOR SALE PIANO - 1876 upright piano, very good condition. If anyone in the group would enjoy it- I'd want them to have it since they'd appreciate the historical value. Someone's enjoyment would be my price for it. It's been a real treasure.
