About SPVHS

The South Platte Valley Historical Society, founded March, 1988, has approximately 350 members locally and around the globe that are dedicated to preserving the history of the South Platte Valley.

Presently, the Society has title to approximately 100 acres of land which is quickly becoming a living history museum to the lives of the fur trappers and later the farmers and ranchers who settled the land.
