Hunter's Widow's Rendezvous
This is a women's rendezvous open to women and children. Taking place during black powder hunting season, the men are all off hunting deer, elk, moose and buffler, while their women remained behind, taking care of camp chores, and amusing themselves while waiting the return of the men. Men are welcome at this rendezvous only if they assume the gender identity and role of a women (Winkte or Berdache). Should a man show up, he must be wearing a dress or risk being driven off (kilts do not count). At this event there is no booshway or secundo, only a "Queen" and "Princess."

The Hunter's Widow's Rendezvous takes place the weekend following the Trapper Days Rendezvous and both modern and primitive camps are acceptable at this event. The rendezvous is not open to the public as spectators, but campers do not need to be members to participate.
Originally a small event, the Hunter's Widow's Rendezvous has grown in recent years to as many as 65 participating women and children.
