There are multiple benefits to joining the TRT besides the prestige of being a Tallow
River Trapper.
- $5.00 discount on camp fees, whether single, family or trader. (This could total
up to $25.00 per year for all five events.) This discount applies to the following
TRT events: Frozen Toes Rendezvous (February); Lancaster's Restoration Rendezvous
(Memorial Day Weekend); Trapper Days Rendezvous (Weekend after Labor Day); Hot Iron
Rendezvous (October); and Colonial Encampment (October)
- Free Early-Early set up before a rendezvous. (The weekend before the rendezvous.)
(This could total $10 per person per rendezvous, i.e. $2.50 per person per day.)
(With 5 rendezvous that could be $50.00 per person.)
- No camp deposit required of TRT members.
- Three free camping weekends in the rendezvous area throughout the year. This must
be arranged with the Land Use Coordinator. (The non-member fee is $2.50 per person
per day plus hooter fees of $30.00 or more.) (This could total $30.00 for two people,
with hooter fees in addition.)
- Turkey Basters Camp Out and Feast (The first full weekend in November.)
- Tallow River Trapper's Christmas Party (Early December)
- Eligible to join the Fort Lupton Muzzleloading Club for only $10.00 per year for
an associate membership.
- Members can vote at our monthly meetings/pot lucks and help decide the direction
our club moves in.
- YOU can be the Booshway or Segundo of one of the rendezvous!
